Xbox Sales Hit Rock Bottom After Historic 2024 Decline

Main Post: Xbox Sales Hit Rock Bottom After Historic 2024 Decline

Top Comment: Many people haven't noticed this, but Xbox has completely stopped marketing their consoles since last year. No holiday sales, bundles, discount... Xbox was also out of stock multiple times in different countries, like due to low supply. They are clearly moving on.

See you when the next free game hits. Until then, Sorry Epic !!

Top Comment: I got RDR2 for some 600 or so rupees back then from Epic, it's gonna use Rockstar's launcher anyways. Don't be a loyalist to any corp and think about only saving your money.

Fortnite: Ballistic hits Early Access December 11

Top Comment: Seems like Epic's new strategy is to have a wide "gaming hub" (aka Fortnite) where you can play more and more modes. They want you to play in this hub, no matter which mode as long as you are there. The all-in Crew pass and the new unified exp system is another proof of that. Battle Royale, OG Battle Royale, Reload, LEGO, Festival, Rocket Racing, Ballistic. And of course STW exists too. I wonder what will be some new genres they explore. Like at this point a fighting game is not out of question lol. Extraction shooter is something I have expected for a long time.

What non-FF game or series hits the closest for you?

Main Post:

I've played most of the mainline games and some of the others (Tactics, Crystal Chronicles, WoFF). The only other games in a similar vein that I've played are Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. I haven't played Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger, Xenoblade, etc. I want to try another game out. Especially classics that have aged well.

What games do you think scratch the same itch? I know that FF is pretty broad and people enjoy different aspects of all of them, so feel free to include what your favorite FF is and what you like about the other game or series.

Top Comment: Definetely play Chrono Trigger. It's incredible.

Top Comment: https://x.com/MSFS_Support/status/1858932444260421714 "We are aware of user reports of long initial loading times into Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. With so many users initializing the sim concurrently, we have a large number of server requests. We are working to help resolve the issues as soon as possible. For users whose initial load is past 90% and no longer progressing, we recommend a reboot. Otherwise we advise waiting to allow the loading to proceed as normal." Zero Sievert hits 1.0 leaving early access

Main Post: Zero Sievert hits 1.0 leaving early access

Top Comment: Been eyeing this game for a while, but I wonder how it plays on controller since I'd be playing exclusively on Steam Deck. It does have controller support, I just wonder if it's precise enough.
